Community Event with The Hills Police

On Saturday 16th July, the teams from Castle Hill Volkswagen and The Hills Police Area Command held a combined event at Castle Hill Volkswagen called “Traffic Talk”.

There were a number of historic Police vehicles on display, as well as some of the earlier road safety equipment used by the Police. Also on display was the Castle Hill Volkswagen Passat Community Engagement Vehicle, which is used widely around the Hills to support the local community.

Officers from The Hills Police were present at the event and talked to all the customers who visited the showroom about the important work undertaken by the Police and reminded drivers of the importance of driver safety.

Superintendent Darrin Batchelor, Commander, The Hills Police Area Command: “It was a great opportunity to chat with residents from The Hills & surrounding areas, along with showcasing our Castle Hill Volkswagen Community Car. We thank everyone that came along on the day and look forward to the next opportunity to engage with our community.”

John Gallico, General Manager, Castle Hill Volkswagen: “We are grateful to the Hills Police for the important role they play in our local community. It was great that they make themselves available to chat to our customers throughout the day and also organise a display of historic Police vehicles.”

“We are proud of our association with the Hills Police and pleased that we can give back to our local community via our sponsorship Volkswagen Passat.”
